Today mine is 2-story decluttering! I recently bought a wonderful stair-basket off ebay (notice Shannon’s tip is about ebay today). As I am 27 weeks pregnant at the moment I like to limit my visits to upstairs as much as possible, so this is a leg-saver as well as a great semi-permanent storage basket which you can throw the downstairs ‘stuff that has to go upstairs’ into!
To be honest, I sometimes let the ‘stuff’ build up over a few days then take the basket upstairs and sort it all out.

I’ve wanted one of those like for ever!!
My problem is I can only find light coloured ones and my stairs are dark coloured wood – let me know if you come across any dark ones.

mummymac – my one is a teak colour…not as light as this one.

I’ve been looking ALL OVER for baskets like these! I think I need several too…there are WAY too many stairs in my house!
