On the subject of daughters, this is a really great book for girls age 5 upwards by Elizabeth George.
Based on Proverbs 31 principles, this book highlights in practical ways how your daughter can become a little girl of virtue. The pictures it contains are exquisitely done by Illustrator, Judy Luenebrink. You can buy her prints at HER WEBSITE.
Elizabeth George and her husband, Jim George are the authors of ‘A man after God’s own heart’ and ‘A woman after God’s own heart’.
Jim has also written God’s wisdom for little boys.
God’s wisdom for little girls can also be purchased HERE.
Both seem slightly expensive at £10.99, however once you see the illustrations and read the marvellous ideas on how they can become children who honour their parents, you will not regret paying the money.
A definite favourite for B and a great Christmas gift.
Also new out are THESE.

Naomi,
Have you read any of her other books? I’ve read Loving God With All of Your Mind and I’m currently reading A Woman After God’s Own Heart. They are both remarkable books!
How are you doing?

Hi Lisa!
Yes, I’ve read Loving God With All Your Mind and A Woman After God’s Own Heart too. A long time ago, mind you, so I could do with a refresher read.
Theres a fairly recent one called Powerful Promises for Every Couple too, which I kinda half-read a while back.
Good to hear from you! I’m fine. Just a bit heavily pregnant!
Stay in touch.

Went on to the web site. The prints are lovely. My favourite is the little boy reading the book (wise).
She is a great author. I have read Beautiful in God’s Eyes. Great book!

I’ve read Beautiful in God’s Eyes (The Proverbs 31 woman) too Ingrid and also A woman’s walk with God (The fruit of the Spirit). I also borrowed a Woman After God’s own Heart of someone and recall reading it too. Her books are great but I don’t think it’s a good idea to read them all together as they all follow the same pattern to me – has anyone else found that?

Yes, I have found that. I couldn’t say how exactly but I know what you mean.
Haven’t read Beautiful in God’s eyes.
